Day 1 Saturday August 20, 2022 Welcome to Alaska
Arrive Anchorage, Alaska’s largest city. Upon arrival we are met by our local Tour Director and then transfer to our hotel. This evening we have a welcome reception and orientation at the hotel to introduce everyone and discuss our Alaska Adventure!

Day 2 Sunday August 21, 2022 Alaska Rail Road, Welcome to Denali National Park
Transfer to Talkeetna, Alaska to board a deluxe Alaska Railroad dome railcar for a scenic trail journey north to Denali National Park. Upon arrival transfer to our lodge with the balance of the day free to explore on your own or purchase optional tours such as a guided hike, flightseeing, rafting, as well as many others to choose from.

Day 3 Monday August 22, 2022 Tundra Wilderness Tour, Denali at Leisure
Experience the narrated “Tundra Wilderness Tour”, as we search the vast wilderness for bears, moose, caribou, and Dall sheep that reside
in this spectacular region. Upon our return to the lodge, the balance of the day is available to explore Denali Park.

Day 4 Tuesday August 23, 2022 Iditarod Headquarters, Welcome to Wasilla, Alaska
Visit the Iditarod Headquarters to learn about The Last Great Race and (for a small fee) depending on weather, experience a dog cart ride.
We then continue on to Wasilla, Alaska, our home for the next two nights.

Day 5 Wednesday August 24, 2022 Musk Ox, Alaska Farming
Visit Alaskan Agriculture; Musk Ox Farm and the largest captive herd of musk ox in the world. We will also tour some unique farms in the heart of Palmer/ Matanuska Valley farming area.

Day 6 Thursday August 25, 2022 Kenai Culture Center
Visit the Kenai Cultural Center and the impressive, permanent collection of Native Alaskan and local history artifacts, art exhibits and
largest collection of mounted Bald Eagles in North America. Continue onto Homer, Alaska the “Halibut Fishing Capital of the World”.

Day 7 Friday August 26, 2022 Dock Walk, Crab Fishing Industry, Peony Farm
Dock Walk to learn about marine wildlife and the 28-foot tidal range. The harbor is also home port to several of the Deadliest Catch
Reality Series TV show ships. Visit a Peony Farm in Homer, Alaska “Peony Capital of the World” with a lunch included while overlooking spectacular Kachemac Bay.

Day 8 Saturday August 27, 2022 Kenai Peninsula Visitor Center Welcome to Seward, Alaska
Visit the Kenai Peninsula Visitors Center located along the Kenai River. Continue along the peninsula with many photo opportunities before arriving in the port of Seward Alaska.

Day 9 Sunday August 28, 2022 Glacier & Wildlife Cruise, Holland America ms Noordam
This morning we board an excursion boat for a Glacier & Wildlife Cruise into Kenai Fjords National Park. Explore the face of a glacier and be on the lookout for whales, puffins, sea lions, and many other forms of wildlife. This afternoon we transfer to the port of Whittier, Alaska and clear documentation to board Holland America’s ms Noordam for a Southbound Glacier Discover Cruise. Pamper yourself with seven days of elegant comfort aboard your Five-Star cruise ship. Enjoy a variety of on-board activities including; stage shows, duty free shopping, numerous entertainment venues, nightly stage shows, casino action, fine dining and relaxing spas! Cruise the fabled inside passage with spectacular scenery, experience the majestic Glaciers “up close and personal” and enjoy the excitement of seeing whales, sea lions, otters and other marine life in the wild.

College Fjord was so named due to the popularity of colleges and universities interested in studying these different types of glaciers. Be

Day 11 Tuesday August 30, 2022 Glacier Bay, Cruising
This will be our opportunity to get up close and personal with glaciers as our captain maneuvers our cruise ship in position for spectacular
views of these captivating glaciers, some receding and some expanding.

Day 12 Wednesday August 31, 2022 Port of Call Skagway, Alaska
The Trail of “98” Skagway, Alaska one of the most documented events of the Gold Rush days! Tour the museum of the gold rush, visit the shops and merchants of Skagway or purchase a ride on the White Pass and Yukon Railroad noted as one of the top ten rail adventures in North America!

Day 13 Thursday September 1, 2022 Port of Call Juneau, Alaska
Enjoy the day in Juneau, the capital of Alaska. There is an abundance of activities; sport fishing, Mt. Robinson Tram, historic city tours,

Known as the “Salmon Capital of the World”, Ketchikan has a colorful history as it was an all year open port and provided a trade and
supply center for gold seekers, fishing, lumber and explorers alike. Today tourism and salmon are its two main industries.

The Travel Protection Plan is not included but is available and strongly recommended. Premium is non-refundable unless the entire tour cancels. We offer a travel protection plan through Trip Mate Travel Insurance, a division of United States Fire Insurance Company Eatontown, NJ. Any surcharges and/or tax increases received from suppliers for this package (Airlines, Cruise Companies, Hotels, etc.) may result in an increase in the per person price of your tour package. For those individuals who may have purchased the Travel Protection Plan, this may also result in an increase in your Travel Protection Plan Premium. Please refer to www. tripmate.com/Plan TPD13 for information regarding detailed coverages and limitations to the insurance policy. Waiver of Pre-Existing Condition Exclusion…The exclusion for Pre-Existing conditional will be waived provided (a) your payment for this plan is received within 7 days of the date your initial payment or deposit for your trip is received; and (b) You are not disabled from travel at the time your plan payment is paid.

Therefore, Tri-State Travel and JH Travel shall not become liable or responsible for any loss, injury or damage to person, property or otherwise in connection with any accommodations, transportation or other services or resulting directly or indirectly from acts of God, pandemics, dangers incident to the waters, fire, breakdown in machinery or equipment, acts of governments, or other civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, pilferage, defaults, delays, quarantines or cancellations of or changes in itinerary, accommodations or schedules. The right is reserved to decline, to accept or retain any person should a person’s health, mental or physical conditions or general deportment impede the operation of the tour or the rights or welfare or enjoyment of the other passengers and a refund of the unused land tour services is the limit of the agent’s liability should such a person be required to terminate the tour. The right is reserved to withdraw the tour at any time and liability
is limited to refund of all monies received in accordance with the disclaimer redemption disclaimer. No refunds will be granted for unused portions of this tour unless arranged with the operator’s approval in writing in advance. Application for membership and/or posting deposit for this tour shall constitute the participant’s consent to the above terms and conditions.
To assist the traveler in understanding the general physical activity levels associated with a tour, we have assigned a Physical Activity Rating LEVEL 3 to this program; Walking associated with several city blocks, including airport terminals, waiting in security lines, climbing stair wells on sightseeing cruise boats, observation areas not equipped with elevators and handling your carry-on bag.
VOUCHER REDEMPTION:
If an individual has in his/her possession a Tri-State Travel Travel Voucher and wishes to apply it to a tour sponsored by Tri-State Travel, he/she may do so by submitting the voucher with the appropriate reservation form. Should the individual elect to cancel his/her reservation for non-medical reasons, the applicable cancellation policies of the tour shall apply. In addition, the value of the voucher will be deducted from any refunds. The value of the voucher may still be applied to a future tour so long as that tour is completed prior to the expiration date on the voucher. This voucher has no cash value and is non-refundable. Only under the following conditions will the voucher value be included as cash in the refunds:
A. The entire tour is cancelled due to lack of participation
B. The entire tour is cancelled due to situations as outlined in our responsibility statement
C. The individual that applied the voucher to a tour and purchased the Travel Protection Plan and had to cancel due to a medical condition as outlined in the Travel Protection Plan Coverage
Cancellation Policy For All Alaska Tours:
• Cancellations received prior to May 1, 2022 will receive a full refund less a $300.00 per person administrative handling fee
• Cancellations received after May 1, 2022 and prior to May 15, 2022 will be assessed 50% of the per person tour price
• Cancellations received after May 15, 2022 and prior to June 1, 2022 will be assessed 75% of the per person tour price
• Cancellations received after June 15, 2022 will forfeit the full price of the tour
