    “Welcome Aboard” as we travel via deluxe motorcoach to Elyria, Ohio for our first overnight stay. We’ll get acquainted with our fellow travelers and enjoy activities on board, hosted by our Tri-State Travel tour director. Overnight: Elyria, OH
  • Day #2 Saturday, September 28, 2019
    Our travels today take us across the Finger Lakes Region of New York State. We will visit a local winery in the Erie, Pennsylvania area to sample unique wines and the opportunity to shop in the wine cellar. Later this afternoon we arrive in Albany, New York for our overnight stay. (B) Overnight: Albany, NY
  • Day #3 Sunday, September 29, 2019
    Our first visit today will be the quaint Manchester Village, Vermont. Enjoy free time to shop and browse this lovely town. There are a variety of restaurants for lunch (on own). This afternoon we visit “Hildene”, Robert Todd Lincoln’s family estate. Explore the 24 room Georgian Manor and formal gardens. Visit the fully restored
    Pullman car and agriculture center where they make goat cheese! Learn about their family fortunes and misfortunes. Later this afternoon we travel into the heart of Vermont’s Green Mountains and our lodging for the next two nights. This evening we enjoy dinner at one of the local restaurants. (BD)

  • Day #4 Monday, September 30, 2019
    The best collection of Americana in New England is at the Shelburne Museum. Known as the “collection of collections” the museum encompasses 45 acres and 39 buildings in a village setting with free transportation to all sights. American paintings, Impressionists, folk art, historic architecture, covered bridge, 1840 general
    store, 1950 period house, the 220 foot Historic landmark SS Ticonderoga a circus parade miniatures and much more awaits the visitor. Our final visit today will be the Vermont Teddy Bear Factory for a fascinating adventure into teddy bears! We will have an opportunity to make our own Personalized Teddy Bear to take home!

  • Day #5 Tuesday, October 1, 2019
    It is a short drive to Graniteville, Vermont and a visit the Rock of Ages Quarry. Enjoy a narrated tour of the world’s largest working granite quarries. Watch as master craftsmen create the finest granite products in the manufacturing plant. There is also a Visitors Center and Gift Shop to visit. Next we visit Montpelier, Vermont, the
    smallest Capital in the United States, with one of only 13 Gold-domes remaining. Lunch (on own) will be at the Vermont State House today. Our travels continue into the White Mountains of New Hampshire. We enjoy the spectacular fall colors of the area with a ride on the longest sky ride in the state to Loon Mountain. Here
    we have lunch on our own and enjoy the spectacular views. We will also visit the White Mountain Visitors Center for an informative introduction to the area. This evening we enjoy one of the top rated dinner trains in North America aboard the Café Lafayette Dinner Train. (BD) Overnight: Waterville Valley, NH
  • Day #6 Wednesday, October 2, 2019
    This morning our New England adventure continues as we travel through New Hampshire’s fall colors to Boston, Massachusetts and the JFK Library & Museum. Overlooking the bay the library and museum offers the visitor a film on Kennedy’s early years and political life. A self-guided tour of the exhibits, campaign headquarters, oval office, and family memorabilia. Lunch will be here (on own) before departing. We continue on to the Cape Cod area for our next two-night stay at and ocean front resort. (BD) Overnight: South Yarmouth, MA
  • Day # 7 Thursday, October 3, 2019
    This morning we board the ferry to one of Cape Cod’s most treasured destinations, Martha’s Vineyard Island. Walk through the colorful “Gingerbread Cottages” on Oak Bluffs; explore the quaint shops and delightful cafes. We’ll also tour along the ocean where Jaw’s was filmed, take photo stops including the Gay Head Light and view the whaling captain’s mansions that line the streets. We return to the mainland late afternoon and enjoy a delightful Lobster dinner this evening. (BD) Overnight: South Yarmouth, MA
  • Day # 8 Friday, October 4, 2019
    We bid farewell to New England’s Cape Cod and travel to Newport, Rhode Island to view the magnificent “summer cottages” and Ten Mile Ocean Drive. We’ll have free time for lunch (on own) and explore the Brick Market Place and Newport harbor. This afternoon we tour The Breakers, one of Cornelius Vanderbilt’s favorite private home. This evening we enjoy the Newport Playhouse & Cabaret Restaurant. (BD) Overnight: Warwick, RI

    Our travels continue to the town of Shanksville, Pennsylvania and a visit to the Flight 93 Memorial. Situated in the
    Pennsylvania’s rolling country the recently completed and dedicated 911 memorial is a testimony to the bravery of
    the passengers aboard United Flight 93 at this perilous time in our nation’s history. (B) Overnight: Somerset, PA
  • Day # 10 Sunday, October 6, 2019
    Our travels continue with fun and games on board our deluxe motorcoach as we travel to Indianapolis, Indiana.
    The White River Botanical Gardens will be displaying the many fall colors and gardens including their famous
    butterfly exhibit. We check into our hotel for the evening. (B, Kick-Back Reception) Overnight: Indianapolis, IN

    Enjoy a hearty breakfast this morning before our travels continue across Indiana, Illinois and Iowa. Enjoy the

Payment/Cancellation & Refund Policy:
• $250.00 per person deposit is due with reservation
• Final date for sign up (subject to availability) and final payment is due by July 15, 2019
• Cancellations received on or before prior to July 15, 2019 will receive a full refund
• Cancellations received after July 15, 2019 and prior to August 1, 2019 will be assessed a $250.00 per person cancellation fee
• Cancellations received after August 1, 2019 and prior to August 15, 2019 will be assessed 50% of the per person tour price
• Cancellations received after August 15, 2019 will forfeit the full price of the tour

Travel Protection Plan is available and strongly recommended. Premium is non-refundable unless the entire tour is cancelled. Any surcharges and/or tax increases received from suppliers for this package (Airlines, Cruise Companies, Hotels, etc.) may result in an increase in the per person price of your tour package. For those individuals who have purchased the Travel Protection Plan, this may also result in an increase in your Travel Protection Plan premium.

To assist the traveler in understanding the general physical activity levels associated with a tour, we have assigned a Physical Activity Rating to each program. We hope this will be of benefit in choosing a tour that will be a “Worry Free Vacation” for your client. Tri State Travel tours generally fall into the following four categories.

LEVEL 2 Walking one or two city blocks, possibly climbing a flight of stairs and some standing during tours and handling your carry-on bag. Handy-cap accessibility is standard on most tours.
