We will be traveling to the Minneapolis (I know that means an early morning) and our first stop will at Bachman’s where we will experience a visual and visceral awakening at this season’s complete transformation of the historic Bachman’s home! Designers have painted, furnished and decorated the entire house with their signature mix of new items, repurposed pieces and a touch of vintage in order to tell a story of seasonal and spiritual renewal. The texture, pattern, style and shine is proudly displayed on your self guided tour (tour tickets are limited). Many of the items displayed will be on sale at the Bachman’s retail store which will also be beautifully decorated for the holiday. Time for lunch which will be catered by Patrick’s Bakery and our seating is in the beautifully decorated atrium area where you feel as your are sitting outside in the tropics! Time to shop will follow lunch.
Wow! You will love our next stop as Gerten’s Greenhouse transforms themselves from a nursery into a Christmas delight! We will be welcomed by the fresh smell of pine in holiday wreaths and garland, giftware, several collections of holiday figurines, outside statues, a wide range of ornaments for that special person, choose your favorite tree as many permanent trees will be beautifully decorated for the season as well a wide variety of styles of trees and a huge selection of fairy garden accessories for the holidays.
We will be making a fast food stop along the way back to Newton (on your own). Don’t miss this trip as it will be a fun day and bring along your friends to get into the holiday spirit!
