If you enjoy learning about the Amish and if you enjoy “YUMMY” food then this is the tour for you!

We will have a morning break on our way (on your own) to Oelwein where we pick up a guide for the day.  Our first stop is a “must” on our tour as we stop at the Boulevard Bakery.  We will then visit an Amish auction as this is the regular auction day of the week with many Amish attending as well as horses & buggies.  Lots of sites and it is a mystery as to what they will be selling when we visit.  Our next stop is at Plainview Bulk Food Store as well as a farm tour where the Amish will explain what they have on the farm and will include a barn visit.  Next we will visit Buckcreek Kountry Store along with a family style meal at Anna’s Home which will include noodles, mash potatoes, salads, homemade bread and more and of course, dessert! Next on our itinerary is the Helmuth Country Store all the while listening to our guide describe the Amish life, traditions followed and life as an Amish person.  Another store that will be visited is Hershberger’s Coleman Store and depending on time a visit to Raber’s Furniture Tour.  The guide will be dropped off and we travel to Highway 63 Diner in Waterloo where soup, salad, frenchys and dessert await us! What is a “frenchy” you might ask?? Come along to find out!

Please note there is a limit of 38 travelers on this tour due to size of Anna’s Home for lunch.  Don’t wait too long as this trip is going to be a popular one!
