DESCRIPTION:Due to the popularity of this trip we have three dates that tra
 velers can sign up for which are September 10\, September 24 &amp\; Octobe
 r 1\, 2021.  This is a very informational trip for travelers to learn abo
 ut the Amish and if you enjoy "YUMMY" food than this is the tour for you!\
 n\nWe will be taking a morning break on our way (on your own) to Oelwein w
 here we pick up Deb\, our step on guide for the day.  Our first stop is a
  "must" on our tour as we stop at the Boulevard Bakery where all the bakin
 g is done without electricity.  Next is a stop at Wapsie Valley Produce A
 uction where Amish farmers sell their products followed by some time at Pl
 ainview Bulk Food Store for shopping\, lunch and a farm tour. Check out th
 e bulk food offered\, baked items for sale and more before savoring the fl
 avors of a home cooked meal and we sure won't leave hungry! Lunch will inc
 lude all the Amish favorites as in chicken\, meatballs or meatloaf\,  mas
 hed potatoes &amp\; gravy\, homemade noodles\, salads\, vegetable\, homema
 de bread &amp\; jam and dessert! After lunch we will take a short farm tou
 r displaying the ice storage shed\, calf &amp\; horse barns and step into 
 their home to see the Amish way of life.\n\nOur tour will then take us to 
 Helmuth's Country Store which carries a large variety of items and offers 
 something for everyone! Our second store stop will be to visit Hershberger
  Country Store before our final stop which will be at a buggy shop for a s
 hort presentation.\n\nWe then travel to Barn Happy in Cedar Falls for a li
 ght evening meal before we head back to Newton with great memories of  "A
  Step Back in Time" tour!  Please note there is a limit of 30 travelers e
 ach day due to the size of the shops that we will be visiting. Don't wait 
 too long to make your reservation as these trips will fill up quickly!\n\n
