Ladies get ready for a very fun day! (Each day we have a 38-person limit).
Our day begins in Winterset, Iowa with the very best apple fritter you have ever tasted along with tea & coffee at the Madison County Historical Complex and learn about a few Victorian customs program by the historical complex folks. A tour of the Bevington Mansion follows with a hands-on project that we will have fun making! Lunch is next at Covered Bridges Winery complete with a charcuterie plate & dessert and of course. . . wine tasting! See the latest fashion styles as we enjoy a style show before free time in downtown Winterset. Not a shopper. – the Iowa Quilt Museum will be open along with the John Wayne Birthplace & Museum will be available! Our day will conclude in Winterset at the Iowa Theater for a special program with afternoon treats!
A farm to table evening meal at the Wallace Center Farm in Orient, Iowa where we will learn about the gardens, orchards & special classes offered! Bring along your appetite! We then begin our journey back to Newton with memories of a fun day!
