 can Sewing Guild for this one day trip to the Minneapolis area for a day o
 f checking out Treadle Yard Goods (St. Paul) and SR Harris Fabric Outlet (
 Brooklyn Park). Bring along comfortable shoes for shopping to find that "j
 ust right" piece of fabric!\n\nThe day begins with motor coach pickups at 
 Altoona and Ames before making a quick stop at the Albert Lea Travel Cente
 r before making our way into Minneapolis! Please bring along a finished it
 em of apparel or a current project that is being created to share with eve
 ryone during a "show &amp\; tell" time while traveling. A morning snack wi
 ll be served enroute to the travel center.\n\nOur first stop will be at Tr
 eadle Yard Goods which is a full service fabric store specializing in natu
 ral fiber fabrics for apparel as in silk\, wool\, oilcloth\, linen\, rayon
 \, cotton &amp\; bridal laces. An amazing array of notions\, patterns\, bu
 ttons (from around the world) are also available. Lunch (on your own) will
  be available from food spots around the area of Treadle Yard Goods includ
 ed in the two and half hour visit here.\n\nOur next stop will be SR Harris
  Fabric Outlet which has been in business since 1966 and housed in a wareh
 ouse of 30\,000 sq ft. They offer decorator fabrics\, apparel\, quilting c
 ottons trims for your couture creation! Also carried is home decor fabric 
 for upholstery and drapery products. They also carry a plethora of stuffin
 g for projects that need structure. A bit over two hours will be spent at 
 SR Harris Fabric Outlet.\n\nOnce everyone has "shopped til they dropped" a
  catered evening meal (included) will be shared at Bachman's Floral. Sit b
 ack and relax while enjoying this outside "but inside" garden area. A litt
 le time for shopping before everyone bids farewell to the Minneapolis area
