This special holiday trip begins with a visit to Terrace Hill for tea and lunch with First Lady Chris Branstad (upon availability). Terrace Hill is the official home of Iowa’s governor and his family which is always beautifully decorated for the holiday season.
Enjoy the many Christmas trees throughout the seating areas, sweeping garland and decorations that make this a wonderful time to visit! Everyone will be served an elegant lunch (please note time change for lunch is 10:30 – 11:30 a.m.) followed by dessert. This is truly a wonderful experience that is followed by a program at the Carriage House (not yet determined). After some free time looking at the displays and gift shop we will travel to the Fashion By the Hall Tree for a style show followed by some free time to look around. Enjoy seeing the latest trends in color & style for the winter of 2014! Before returning to Newton we will have dessert & coffee at Palmer’s Deli.
This trip is always a holiday favorite and we have only 37 reservations and already have several ladies signed up – so don’t wait too long before you call for a reservation!
