DESCRIPTION:Join JH Travel for this matinee production at the Civic Center 
 of Greater Des Moines on Saturday\, December 15\, 2012.  A lunch prior to
  the show will be served at Café Baratta’s at the State Historical Buil
 ding.  There is three main entrée choices which are:  Roasted Pork Loin
  with Pan Gravy\, Baked Lasagna or Stuffed Chicken Breast served with a sa

 ain entrée choice will need to be given). \n\nThe story unfolds in Englan
 d\, 1914. As World War One begins\, Joey\, young Albert's beloved horse\, 
 is sold to the cavalry and shipped from England to France. He's soon caugh
 t up in enemy fire\, and fate takes him on an extraordinary journey\, serv
 ing on both sides before finding himself alone in no man's land. But Alber
 t cannot forget Joey and\, still not old enough to enlist\, he embarks on 
 a treacherous mission to find him and bring him home.  This powerfully mo
 ving and imaginative drama\, filled with stirring music and songs\, is a s
 how of phenomenal inventiveness currently playing to packed houses in Lond
 on and New York. At its heart are astonishing life-sized puppets created b
 y South Africa's Handspring Puppet Company\, that bring to life breathing\
 , galloping\, charging horses strong enough for men to ride.\n\nDon’t mi

 ey up close and it is amazing how this large structure works and moves! Li
