S it back and relax a bit before arriving at Creekside Winery located by Pre emption\, IL for wine tasting among the tanks at the winery! Sip and savor the wine before boarding  the coach in traveling to Lavender Crest Winer y located by Colona\, IL. A relaxing lunch in their dining room followed b y a wine tour of the production facility with wine tastings and a gift sho p to check out before we board the coach to travel to Utica\, IL. We will have a bit of time to drop off our luggage at Grand Bear Resort before dep arting for our brewery tour at Ottawa\, IL. The Tangled Roots Brewing Co w elcomes our group for a tour that will show the bottling\, copper kettles used for the beer and a great overall understanding of the art of beer mak ing. Following the tour everyone will experience 4 different beers with fo od pairings of chicken\, beef tenderloin &\; salmon with the Executive Chef. Dessert will be served and then some free time for purchasing beer o r to check out the retail area for a souvenir from visiting the brewery. R eturn to the hotel for a relaxing evening.\n\nOur day will begin with brea kfast at the hotel before packing up to depart. Onto wine tasting at Augus t Hill Winery located in Utica\, IL for sip and savor time!  You may even try a wine slushy! Next on the itinerary is a bit of chocolate &\; fla vored popcorn with a visit to Roxie's Sweet Confections and Flutter By Gou rmet Popcorn! Really . .  you just have to try the banana creme pie flavo red popcorn! We then travel back to August Hill Winery for lunch with a gl ass of wine. Our last stop will be a visit to Jamie's OutPost Parlor where a program will be given on Moonshine and everyone will have a chance to t ry flavored Moonshine with some free time in this unique store. Before we depart everyone may walk across the street to Nonie's Bakery for dessert & amp\; bottled water or soda before departing for our journey back to Newto n with great memories of our "Wine\, Shine &\; Brew" trip!
