Looking forward to having you join JH Tr avel for a wonderful wine weekend getaway traveling to Wisconsin &\; Mi nnesota!\nWe will begin our morning at John Ernest Vineyard &\; Winery by Tama with croissants &\; jam\, a wine tour with tasting along with g ift shop time.  Board the coach for the destination of Fountain City\, WI which is nestled in the bluffs by the Mississippi River.  Our group will divide up with wine tasting at Seven Hawks Vineyard and the other half wi ll be served lunch at Monarch Public House. This Irish pub &\; restaura nt has been continuously open for business since 1894 that still features the original carved oak back bar\, ornate pressed ceilings - also check ou t The Absolute Rock Bottom Pub! Lunch will be have four choices that inclu de:  1).  Three piece fish &\; chips (Fries) - lightly battered cod f ilets over Irish Fries with homemade tartar sauce and coleslaw 2).  Ruebe n and Soup - very tender\, hand pulled corned beef Rueben on toasted marbl e rye\, with traditional sauerkraut and 1000 Island sauce. A cup of our Ir ish Potato Soup 3). Bangers and Mash - 150 year old family recipe Irish Sa usages (2) Irish Champ mashed potatoes and Jacks Baked Beans. Side of Bist ro Pub Mustard 4).BBQ Chicken Sandwich plate - sweet BBQ sauce over grille d\, pulled chicken on a bakery ciabatta bun. Sides include coleslaw and p otato salad.  Served with coffee\, ice tea\, hot tea or soda. (Your lunch choice needs to be given at the time of signup).  Our next stop will be at St. James Hotel for some relaxation or shopping time.  Our evening pla ns include a visit to Villa Bellezza\, which is a classical Mediterranean style winery and is named from the Italian word for beauty and located by Pepin\, WI. Our evening begins with wood oven pizza with a private wine ta sting along with a tour showing the Piazza\, Reception Hall and will be gi ven detailed information from the start to finish of the making of their w ine!\n\nBreakfast will be served in the Victorian Room before departing to visit Danzinger Winery which has more than 8\,000 plants and a family bus iness along the Mississippi River. Lunch will be served at Nelson Cheese F actory with some browsing time before we travel onto wine tasting along wi th a power point presentation showing the history &\; wine making at Ga rvin Heights Vineyards by Winona\, MN. Our last wine tasting will be Elmar o Vineyards before making our journey back to Newton with great memories o f the annual "Wine Trail Weekend"!
