Northeast Iowa here we come!! Join JH Travel for this trip as we participate in the second annual “Iowa Shop Hop” event. Each traveler will receive a featured 6” charm square that is only available through participating quilt shops during this special event as well as travelers will have the opportunity to purchase exclusive Iowa fabric during the Shop Hop! Come along and show your support for these nine wonderful quilt shops!
Our day will begin with a quick stop at The Crazy Red Head Quilting Shop in Newton for a muffin & coffee (included)! Then onto Iowa Falls Sewing Machine then further north to Osage where we find Debbie’s Quilt Shop located in a renovated theatre. Lunch will be delivered by Subway (included) and may be eaten while enroute to Stitches in Charles City. New Hampton offers two quilt shops which are Material Magic and Quilters Window which was featured in a Quilt Sampler Magazine located in a renovated JC Penney building. One Block Over will be our next stop in West Union that offers Jinny Beyer fabric. Forest Mills Quilt Shop nestled in the Yellow River valley by Postville is next on our itinerary followed by a stop at Godfather’s Pizza for our evening meal (included). Our last stop is at Moose Patch Quilt Shop in Waverly. They will present a quick demo entitled “A Few of Your Favorite Things While Quilting” before we continue on our way home!
