Our second garden trip is featuring southeast Iowa greenhouses located by Sigourney, South English and Parnell, Iowa and included is a light breakfast and lunch. (LIMIT OF 25 GARDENERS PER TRIP DUE TO TRAILER CAPACITY).
Our first stop is at Barn Wired located in the historical area of Sigourney which houses a coffee shop, home décor and a great place to meet friends! A light breakfast will be served before visiting James Greenhouse just a few blocks away. Mikayla, owner of James Greenhouse offers a large gift area along with garden art and an array of annuals & perennials! Our next greenhouse to be visited is Morning View Market which is an Amish greenhouse (not sure if they take credit cards). Dawn, owner of Pleasant Valley Greenhouse by South English welcomes our group and is known for their nice array of annuals plus more. Our lunch will be served at Main St Pub in North English where 3 menu options are available, plus ice cream for dessert! Our final greenhouse to be visited is Finn & Rose Greenhouse (named after their daughter & Great Grandma Rose) where we will find annuals, hanging baskets and pots.
Just a reminder that a truck & trailer will be accompanying our group to house your purchases (not responsible for loss of plants or breakage of items purchased.) Each item must be labeled with a return address label for verification when unloading the trailer – so bring plenty of labels! Seriously, bring lots of labels!!!
