Back by request is this one day garden trip to Hornbaker Gardens (Princeton, IL) and Sunnyfield Greenhouse & Garden Center (Galva, IL) on May 3rd! We are also offering an additional one day garden trip on May 1, 2017 (different greenhouses) – when making reservations be sure to explain which date you are making reservations for.
Following a morning break and snack along the way our first stop will be at Hornbaker Gardens. This is a complete garden center that is known for a huge inventory of hostas, hundreds of perennials, annuals, grasses, trees, shrubs, aquatic plants, pottery and garden art! A boxed lunch will be delivered to be eaten while on the road to Sunnyfield Greenhouse and Garden Center. Sunnyfield has over 28,000 sq ft offering a variety of annuals, perennials, vine and vegetables and ceramic pots. Both greenhouses that will be visited are family owned businesses.
Just a reminder that a truck & trailer will be accompanying our group to house your purchases (not responsible for loss of plants or breakage of items purchased). Each item must be labeled with a return address label for verification when unloading the trailer – so bring plenty of labels!
This will be a popular trip – so call early to make your reservation! It is so fun to travel along with friends & family to share/swap garden stories! This trip is limited to 30 travelers due to available space!
