Day #1 C Monday, November 26, 2012
Welcome aboard! Sit back and relax as we travel across Iowa, Illinois, and Indiana on our way to our first overnight stay in Louisville, KY. With the holiday festivities just starting we check into the Galt House for a one night stay. After check in we stroll through a display of lights called KaLightoscope located in the hotel. This evening we have reserved seats at the “Colors of the Season” Dinner Show. (D)
Day #2 C Tuesday, November 27, 2012
After breakfast we will have an opportunity to visit another light display located in a natural cavern called Lights Under Louisville. We then continue south to “Music City, USA”, Nashville for a three night stay. We arrive in Nashville in the mid afternoon and
check into the world famous Opryland Hotel. The remainder of the afternoon is free
for you to explore this amazing hotel complex. This evening we have reserved seats at
the World Famous Grand Ole Opry, the world’s longest running live radio show.
Day #3 C Wednesday, November 28, 2012
Today is a full one as we will visit several interesting Holiday exhibits, including
“ICE” a wonderful display of ice carvings, the “Hall of Trees”, and “Treasures for the
Holidays” craft, antique, and art show. Tonight we have reservations at the Holiday
Musical Dinner Show (located in the hotel) featuring Lorrie Morgan. (D)
Day #4 C Thursday, November 29, 2012
This morning is free to sleep in, explore this wonderful complex, or do some last
minute Christmas shopping at the Opry Mills Mall located adjacent to the hotel. This
afternoon we have reservations for a luncheon cruise aboard the General Jackson to
include a holiday show. Our last holiday venue at the Opryland Hotel is the Radio City
Christmas Spectacular featuring the world famous Rockettes. (L)
Day #5 C Friday, November 30, 2012
Homeward bound! We head north this morning as our travels take us through Indiana
and Illinois on our way back to Newton with many fond memories of our “Country
Christmas” adventure.
